Making Slime

We created our very own green slime using corn flour, glue, water and green food colouring. The children wrote out the process of making the slime. It was great fun.

Making Lanterns

The children were extremely proud of their monster lantern creations.

Making Monsters

We are very creative children. Teacher gave us glue, paper and scissors and we all created very different and imaginative monsters.

Making Predictions

We love predicting what land will be at the top of the faraway tree next. So far we have travelled to the Rocking Land, Mr Saucepan Man Land and the Land of Ice and Snow.

Character Description

Setting and Characters

We illustrated the setting of the first chapter of the book. We drew pictures of the characters we met in the first chapter. We made some beautiful pictures. The best thing about this activity was that the author drew a different picture in everyone's head, no two pictures were the same.
