Is it waterproof

We tested lots of material to test for absorbancy. If it absorbed water it changed somehow. Its colour, weight or texture changed. If it is waterproof it didnt change. A waterproof material could make a good rain jacket.

Its winter time

We have noticed lots of changes around us in the last few weeks. We made a lovely wintet display.

A visitor to senior infants

Today the infants found time in their very busy day to talk to TD Ciarán Cannon about using IT in our clsssroom. 

We all liked our visitor very much. We talked about some of the projects we do in our classroom. We showed how easy it is for us to use our laptop in the classroom.   We had our photo taken with our visitor. Thank you Ciaran for visiting our class today.

Explore the oceans month with Skype

We were very lucky to get a lesson from a biologist yesterday.  She thought us lots of interesting things about sea creatures. We had lots of questions for Susan the biologist.

We played great halloween games with spooky spaghetti.  We all had some Halloween treats.

Our Autumn Walk

We went to the woods to spot signs of aurumn. We used our listening ears to listen for birds. It was a very peaceful walk with lots of beautiful sounds and smells.

Making spooky spiders

We love working with clay. We made  some super spooky spiders to go with our spooky seomra.

Maths for fun morning
